Christmas Postal Scam

The Trading Standards Office want Woodside residents to be aware of a Christmas scam where a card is posted through doors from a company called PDS or Postal Delivery Service.  The card says that they were unable to deliver a parcel and tells recipients they need to contact them on 09066 611911 (a premium rate number).

DO NOT call this number or one similar as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. When callers to this line start to hear a recorded message they will already have been billed £15 for the call. Any Woodside resident who receives a card with these details should contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072 396655 or ICSTIS who are the premium rate service regulator at www.icstis.org.uk .
