Parking Controls Progress

At a meeting on 6th May Glasgow City Council Land Services agreed to proceed with the Parking Controls to the Napiershall zone of Woodside in accordance with the recent poll of residents. The controls will be advertised and affected households notified in June. Dependent on the response to the formal notices implementation is planned for autumn this year. The Land Services committee agreed to add South Woodside Road to the controlled area after a petition from the majority of residents of that street requested inclusion in the parking restrictions. New double yellow lines were also approved for Garriochmill Road so that service vehicles will not be blocked by displacement car parking.
