Botanics Boycott

The voluntary organisation 'Save Our Botanics' (SOB) which has been set up to oppose the proposed G1 disco within the Botanic Gardens held a meeting on 15th November specially for Residents Associations and Community Councils from all over Glasgow. The event was hosted by the Hilton Hotel and your Community Council was among the forty or so organisations represented.

The meeting outlined the strategy of opposition, called for a boycott of all G1 group premises especially by students and appealed for donations to finance legal and other costs.
