The Affordable Warmth Dividend is a payment of £100 made by the City Council to Glasgow residents who are 80 years of age and older to help them keep warm during the winter. To receive the payment you must be 80 years of age or over by 31 March 2016 and living in Glasgow.
If you have not previously claimed for the Dividend or have not received a letter by 30 November 2015, you can download the application form [56kb] and guidance [40kb]. Evidence of age is required for each new claim. Woodside residents are reminded that they can apply on someone’s behalf, so if you know anyone who is or will become eighty years old before next April then just add your own details at the bottom of the application form and it will be accepted.
