Anti-social behaviour
Your Community Council is concerned at the steep rise in vandalism and anti-social behaviour attributed to gangs of youths in the vicinity of Braid Square and Karol Path.
Our meeting in March was addressed by Chief Inspector Munn of Saracen Police Office who reported a huge increase in this type of problem across the whole division, and suggested various approaches for residents, chief among which was early and prompt notification directly to Police.
Now concerned residents in Woodside are invited to a public meeting organised by your Community Council where the Police, Housing Officials, local politicians and other interested parties can advise on the action being taken and organise the involvement of community groups and parents.
This will take place in the lesser hall of Woodside Halls in Glenfarg Street at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 18th April and all residents and interested parties are welcome to attend.
