Lord Provost to Switch on Festive Lights!

Glasgow's Lord Provost, Bob Winters, will be switching on the Woodside Festive Lights for us this year.

Also in attendance will be Councillor George Roberts, Councillor Martha Wardrop, Police Chief Inspector Stuart Ferguson, Police Inspector Jim Haddows as well as local schools & nurseries.

All Woodside residents are welcome to attend the event which will take place at St George's Cross on Tuesday 1 December starting at 4pm.

4.00pm Schools arrive at Woodside Library

4.15pm Procession to St. George's Cross

4.20pm Speech - Councillor George Roberts

4.25pm Carols Performed by Schools

Woodside Nursery School "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells"

Oakgrove Primary School "Midnight" and "See Him Lying On A Bed of Straw"

St. Joseph's Primary School "Winter Wonderland" and "Silent Night"

4.55pm Speech - Woodside Community Councillor Alan Lee
