Clean-up Success

The clean-up day on Saturday 20th October organised by your  Community Council and the members of New Mercy church was a great success.  Pictured are some of the volunteers who  collected twenty five bags of litter from the area around Woodside library and Oakgrove primary school. Also found were two footballs,a skateboard and fifty one pence !                                                                                                                                 

     The effort was assisted by the Clean Glasgow support team who provided gloves, litter pickers and vests, and by the staff of Woodside Library who provided tea and biscuits. Another day is planned soon, so if you can suggest an area of Woodside which needs a clean-up then contact us now.
