Parking public meeting

Local campaigners the Metered Parking Action Group have organised a second Public meeting about the controlled parking chaos in the West End including Woodside.

The group are recognised by Glasgow City Council whose Head of Roads George Gillespie and Traffic Operations Manager Donald McKinven will be in attendance. Additionally the RAC, AA, Chamber of Commerce and your Community Council will be invited along with local politicians.

The meeting will be held at 7.00 pm on Monday 20th February 2006 in Stephenson Memorial Church on Belmont Street and all interested residents and businesses are invited.

At their first public meeting in June 2005 over 400 people turned up to standing room only. That assembly prompted an official about-turn, so if you are going this time don't be late!
